History

Bohn Broadcast Services was founded in 2001 by Josh Bohn.  His first project was a studio rebuild for Juniata College's WKVR in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.  Since then, the company has served clients from as Maryland to California in a variety of roles.  In 2008, Josh expanded the company into the used equipment sales market, which is our current focus.

Josh started his radio career at WMRF & WIEZ Radio in Lewistown, Pennsylvania in 1995 as a part-time board operator, on-air personality and engineer.  After going off to college and working for a variety of stations in central and western PA, Josh joined the engineering team at Delmarva Broadcasting in Salisbury, MD and Dover, DE as a staff engineer.  In 2006, he accepted the position of Chief Engineer with Cumulus Broadcasting in Huntsville, AL.  He remained in that job until December 2008, when he joined Radio One in Cincinnati, OH as Assistant Chief Engineer.  He is now focusing on Bohn Broadcast Services full-time and is ready to assist you with all of your equipment and engineering needs!
